Open Day Celebration

On Sunday 27th April The Chace welcomed guests for the official opening of its new 12 room wing.

Staff, residents and guests celebrated this special occasion with afternoon tea followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony undertaken by the guests of honour, Carol and Bill Reeley who founded The Chace in 1983.

The Chace has built up an outstanding reputation over the last 30 years within its local community providing award winning long term dementia care. Managing Director, Anthony Reeley said: “This is an extremely proud day for us at The Chace. We are really pleased to be able to offer these beautifully appointed rooms to new residents, in addition to the refurbishment programme of our dining and living rooms. It has also been a great opportunity to recognise the hard work of our team here at The Chace, many of whom have been with us for many years and help to provide a loving and caring home for our residents, which we are truly proud of.”

Over the next few weeks, residents and staff will also be helping to choose and plant the new garden areas to enhance the beautiful gardens.
