THE Chace Care Home in Malvern held an Open Day on Sunday, April 27 to help celebrate the grand opening of their new 12 room wing.
Staff, residents and guests celebrated this special occasion with afternoon tea followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony undertaken by the guests of honour, Carol and Bill Reeley who founded The Chace in 1983. The Chace is still owned and run by their son, Anthony Reeley working alongside a highly qualified Care Management team.
The Chace has built up an outstanding reputation over the last 30 years within its local community providing award winning long term dementia care. The home regularly holds events and activities for its residents and they constantly strive to provide the highest level of care in a homely environment where residents are at the heart of everything they do.
Managing Director, Anthony Reeley said: “This is an extremely proud day for us at The Chace. We are really pleased to be able to offer these beautifully appointed rooms to new residents, in addition to the refurbishment programme of our dining and living rooms. It has also been a great opportunity to recognise the hard work of our team here at The Chace, many of whom have been with us for many years and help to provide a loving and caring home for our residents, which we are truly proud of.”
Residents and staff over the coming weeks will also be helping to choose and plant the new garden areas to enhance the beautiful gardens.
