The Chace Garden Party, Friday 19th June, 3pm – 6pm

On Friday 19th June, we are welcoming everyone to our Garden Party in recognition of ‘National Care Home Open Day’. The party starts at 3pm and refreshments will be served outside (weather permitting). We are also extremely pleased to be welcoming back Phoebe Marie, a West End vocalist, who will performing a number of songs for everyone to enjoy.

Care Home Open Day is a UK wide initiative inviting care homes to open their doors to their local communities.

Thousands of care homes across the UK take part each year, welcoming the public and arranging events and activities that help to create lasting links between care home residents and their local communities.

This is all about showing people what excellent care homes are really about and how they can be at the centre of local communities, developing relationships across the generations.

Firstly, we’d like to send our congratulations and our best wishes to Thelma who celebrated her birthday on the 5th and Mavis who will be celebrating her birthday on the 18th of June. We love helping you to celebrate your birthdays especially with our the birthday cake made by Chef to share!

We enjoyed a great day on Tuesday 2nd June with our Community Bus Trip which was primarily to buy our garden supplies so we can get some colour in the gardens. We of course made time for the all essential tea and cakes of course! Other highlights for June include, the ever popular yoga sessions with Sally, beauty pampering by Sue on Wednesday 10th and Sarah bringing beautiful sounds of music on the 11th. Plus much more!

On Friday 19th June at 3pm, we are welcoming all our relatives and friends to join us in the garden for a party with entertainment by Phoebe Marie.
