At The Chace, we honoured ‘Dignity Action Day’ by holding a Tea Dance on Monday afternoon for our residents, led by fit4lifeover50 and supported by our amazing Care team. Everyone had a fabulous afternoon of dance and music, for those both able to participate on the dance floor and also for those who were able to appreciate the show and music as an audience member. Finished off by afternoon tea was just perfect!
Baroness Joan Bakewell – Dignity in Care Ambassador:
“Dignity Action Day highlights a more respectful way of behaving towards vulnerable people. The very old and the very young clearly need our respect, but it wouldn’t do any harm to spread the dignity message across the population – then we can all benefit.”
