What are relatives saying about us…
I think the factors that make the Chace different from other homes is the cheerful atmosphere and the love and affection shown by the staff to residents. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff always have time to chat with residents & visitors. Unlike so many homes there is not a big circle of chairs with residents staring at the TV. Activities & music are important as is the garden which is an integral part of the home. The Well-being co-ordinator does a great job, as do all the staff
We are very happy with the choice we made as all the staff are so thoughtful, kind and caring in so many ways. All our visits are unannounced but it doesn’t seem to matter when we arrive (XXXX) is happily pottering about and keen to organise any nearby member of staff to provide her & us with cups of tea and cake, which they always kindly do, whilst getting on with their own duties.
I’m happy because Mum is happy, the staff are wonderful!
