Facilities

The Chace is a private family run care home situated at the foot of the Malvern Hills. There are five immediate family members involved with the day to day running of the Home. We accept Private and Funded residents.

The original house was converted into an 11 bed residential home by the present owners in 1982. In 1990 there was an extension to add a further 22 bedrooms. The current registration allows 34 residents.

The Home is situated within 1 acre of land. Many rooms hold beautiful views of either the hills or the valley. Each room in the new extension is of a double size. Rooms in the old house vary but, as a guide, are bigger than rooms in the new extension. Every room has en-suite facility, one or two even have jacuzzis. There are telephone points and each room has its own individually controlled central heating.

We also offer:
Two beautiful lounges
Extensive dining room
Conservatory link to the new extension
In house hairdressing salon facilities
Care Individually Tailored to your needs
Regular Activities, Events and Trips Out
Beautiful Gardens

Here at the Chace we pride ourselves on the standard of care. All our staff undertake rigorous induction and training plans. There is ongoing training offered to everyone and this coincides with our 'Investor In People' achievement. We are renowned for our standard in catering and have three qualified chefs who cater for any needs.

Accreditation

We strive for quality in all aspects of our home and our commitment and reputation is exemplary. This is measurable by our achieved standards with 'Investor In People' and the elite care standards 'Classic Homes'. Both organisations adhere to rigorous standards, which we are proud to be associated with.

Implementation of Care

All residents receive the correct level of care for their needs. The Chace is aware that needs change over any period of time. To implement this, a plan of care is agreed upon moving to the Chace. The plan is issued to all care staff and is monitored by them on an ongoing basis. The resident family and friends are encouraged to help with this plan. A review is offered on a six monthly basis, which will include the resident, care manager, senior carer and third parties of the residents' choice. The plans are available to view at any time. The Home is formally registered with The Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).
