Anthony Reeley, Managing Director
A keen cyclist with a passion for classic cars
The Chace was established by Anthony’s parents as a family run care home in 1983 and Anthony has enjoyed working at The Chace for over 30 years. When Anthony’s parents decided to retire in 2001, he had the great pleasure of taking over the management of the home. He strives for quality in all aspects of the home and “is so proud of the ethos and attitude of the team in how they responded to Covid in order to keep all our residents safe.”
Lynne Burton, Care Manager
Passionate about ‘person centred care’ and horses
Lynne joined The Chace over 15 years ago. Lynne is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the care delivery at The Chace as well as overseeing our continuous improvement programme through mentoring our Senior Managers. Lynne has 30 years’ experience of managing services for Older People, Adults with Learning Disabilities and Young People with Autism. This has included working in the private, statutory and voluntary sectors.
Lynne’s experience has predominantly been working in the care of Older People sector, particularly with people experiencing Dementia. She has been involved in the refurbishment of services and the development of rehabilitation and mental health services working jointly within health partnership agreements. Lynne is appropriately qualified to act in the capacity of Registered Care Manager.

Loves working in ‘the best home’ as well as cooking and gardening
Angelina joined The Chace over 12 years ago and she works closely with Lynne to support leading the home and the team to deliver outstanding care to all our residents.
Amber Maybanks, HR and Admin
Family oriented and loves horse riding
Amber is responsible for all the day to day administration and HR at The Chace and is always on hand to help with any queries.
Leanne Simpkins, Business Support
A creative who enjoys all aspects of Hair and Beauty
Leanne joined us in 2021 to support with the efficient running of The Chace with resident admissions and managing communications. Leanne also welcome callers and visitors to The Chace.
Well being Team
Our Well Being and Activity Team provide activities that benefit the wellbeing of each resident, ensuring a focus on their emotional, intellectual, spiritual and physical wellbeing. From creating quizzes, running craft sessions to stimulating physical exercise through gardening or a brisk walk to the pub, they personalise each programme of activity to ensure every resident is encouraged and included. They also reach out to the local community to ensure that residents don’t lose touch with groups or friends that they enjoyed locally before coming to live at The Chace.
Established Chefs within the catering trade; homes, day centres and pubs, our professional kitchen team are both passionate about providing varied, home cooked food from the freshest ingredients provided by our local suppliers. They ensure our menu is both varied and nutritional and welcome feedback from our residents on their likes and dislikes. All special dietary requirements and needs can be met.
